2017 Enterprise Budgets- Corn, Soybean, and Sorghum

The new 2017 enterprise budgets are now available on our Budgets Page. This year we have included some important updates on prices received utilizing a localized positive basis for pricing. This positive basis is a more realistic assumption on prices received based off average prices paid at grain elevators. In addition you will also find updated cost including some of the items below:

  • Fertilizer Cost (generally decreased)
  • Pest Control Cost (generally decreased)
  • Labor Cost Updates (generally increased)
  • Cost for No-Till in Soybean and Corn
  • Sorghum Budgets Updated

Visit our Budgets Page or check out the shortcuts below to see the updates:

These budgets include the input of university specialist, agents, and farmers throughout the state and we are thankful for all the help in time and consideration to those who were involved. If you are a farmer, agent, or university specialist we are looking to get your input on pricing and cost that farmers face in 2018.
