Extension and Research Interest: Ted Feitshans has developed a dynamic and vital Extension education program in environmental and agricultural law. Currently he provides programming in liability avoidance and risk management, estate planning and business succession, oil and gas law, environmental compliance, and land use. Applied research interests include pesticide drift regulation and labeling, property interests in oil and gas rights, compulsory pooling of oil and gas production, farmland preservation, and water quality. He was inducted into the North Carolina State University Academy of Outstanding Teachers in 2008.
2008 Awards

  • 2010  Best Seat in the House Award, Great IDEA Awards, awarded to Ted Feitshans and David Saxowsky by Great Plains IDEA for serving as co-faculty chairs of the AG*IDEA program in Agricultural and Environmental Law.
